Little Women of Lutz News

The GFWC Little Women of Lutz have just returned from their annual summer meeting called JASM.  It was a wonderful experience for the nine girls who attended.  On Saturday they visited the Canine Companions Training grounds and found out how the dogs were trained to help the mentally and physically handicapped individuals maintain a normal lifestyle.   As the awards were handed out the girls had a great deal to be proud of with 4 first place awards, 9 second place awards and they were tied for second place for the Outstanding Juniorettes of The Year Trophy.  On June 28th, former President, Christian Nunez and advisor Marilyn Wannamaker traveled to Chicago to attend the General Federation of Women's Clubs National Convention to accept a national award for their Community Improvement Project.  They also won the same award for their project from the Florida Federation of Women's Clubs.
